MegaOrb Hub · Last updated November 3, 2026
MegaOrb Hub (hub.megaorb.com) is the internal tool MegaOrb, Inc. uses to work with its contractors and its clients' staff. Only people MegaOrb has added can sign in. This page explains what Hub stores and why.
Who we are
MegaOrb, Inc., 1042 E Fort Union Blvd #493, Midvale, UT 84047, USA. For questions or requests about your data, write to hr@megaorb.com.
What Hub stores
- Your name, email address, phone, country, title, manager, department, and start and end dates.
- For contractors: billing details (company name, registration and VAT numbers, address), payout currency and the last 4 digits of your payout account, plus your assignments and rates, hours, expenses and receipts, invoices, quarterly reviews and bonuses, and onboarding and offboarding tasks with their files and comments.
- Sign-in: with Google, Hub receives your name, email address and profile picture, and checks the email against the people MegaOrb has added. It gets no access to your Gmail, Drive or anything else in your Google account. Without Google, Hub emails you a 6-digit code.
- A cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Hub uses no tracking or advertising cookies.
How it's used
Only to run MegaOrb's work with you: paying contractors, billing clients, approvals, reviews and onboarding. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
You, MegaOrb's admins, and for some items your manager or approver, such as hours and expenses waiting for their approval or your review. Clients are billed for hours by position; they don't get your personal or billing details.
Where it's kept
Hub runs on Cloudflare, which stores its database and files and sends its emails, on servers in the United States and elsewhere.
How long
While you work with MegaOrb, and afterwards for as long as we need it for accounting, tax and legal records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or for a copy of it, by writing to hr@megaorb.com. Records like invoices and payments have to be kept for accounting. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
